Our Mission

The mission of Creativity & Associates is to strengthen critical thinking and communications skills in schools, businesses and individuals using the techniques of theater.

Empathetic learning, which is at the core of dramatic expression, plays an important role in fostering excellence in both schools and the workplace.  The ability to empathize – to be able to imagine oneself as something or someone else – personalizes learning and makes it relevant to the learner whatever the environment.

“Who am I? Where am I? What am I doing?” are core questions that every actor must ask herself. Being able to answer these questions honestly is the basis of effective communication whether in the theater, in the school or in the workplace. Theater and the skills of the actor are the tools that Creativity & Associates use to reach our goals.

The programs that Creativity & Associates offer for schools include artist residencies and after-school activities for students and professional development and strategic planning for teachers and administrators.

In the world of business, these skills are applied to interpersonal and public communication and strategic planning.
